As Chief Business Officer, Sagar oversees partnerships, product commercialization, and ecosystem strategy. He began his career in investment banking, private equity and corporate development, and has spent the majority of the past decade in the XRP ecosystem. At Ripple, he helped scale blockchain based cross-border payments, led the acquisition of digital asset custody platform Metaco, and helped launch the Ripple stablecoin (“RLUSD”). Sagar holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s degree from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
